    • Meet the Tutor Evening - October 2024

      Published 29/10/24

      October 2024

This term, we hosted our first-ever ‘Meet the Tutor’ evening, inviting families to build connections with their children's tutors.

It was a fantastic event, featuring workshops run by our incredible staff and engagement with various agencies that work closely with our school to support students. A huge thank you to our wonderful staff for their hard work throughout the evening, and extra special thanks to the BRIYM Building Resilience In Young Minds), Oxfordshire Mental Health Support Team (MHST), Early Help, the Locality Community Support Service (LCSS), and our local police liaison officer, JP, for joining us and connecting with our families.

Big thanks to Scott Powles and the Sixth Form team who launched Unifrog an amazing platform that helps all our students explore and learn about future educational pathways.

For Year 7, this was their first touchpoint with the school, and we wanted to make it extra special. Laura Kay and Bethany Scott introduced ‘OSA Make Their Day,’ a collaboration with parents and carers designed to provide unique experiences for students throughout the year. We’re excited to see this initiative in action!

And to top it all off, we raised over £300 in our DT silent auction and enjoyed some incredible performances from our talented students from the OSA music department - big thanks to Amy de Sybel . It was truly a night to remember—great connections, great music, and great fun!
