We know that getting a feel for a school is an important part of the application process. We offer a range of opportunities for parents and students to visit us in the run up to the October admissions deadline. These include an Open Evening and group tours for Year 6 families.
We are delighted to welcome prospective students and their families to our Open Evening on Thursday 17 September 2026, between 5pm and 8pm.
This is a great opportunity to experience life at Oxford Spires Academy. Our students will be available throughout the evening to lead guided tours, allowing visitors to explore our classrooms, take part in activities, and meet teachers and school leaders.
Headteacher Talks
During the Open Evening, Headteacher Louise Cowley will give talks at: 5.15pm, 6:30pm you do not need to book in advance.
If you would like to attend a talk and take a guided tour, please allow approximately 40 minutes either before or after your chosen talk time.
We look forward to welcoming you.
Consideration for our neighbours
We value our relationships with our local community and ask all visitors attending events at the Oxford Spires Academy to be mindful of our neighbours. Where possible, please travel by public transport. If you are driving, we kindly ask that you park away from the school and complete the final part of your journey on foot. Please note that there is only very limited parking available.
Thank you for your consideration and support.
In addition to our Open Evening, we are offering a series of small group tours for Year 6 students and their parents. These tours provide an opportunity to see the school in action during a normal school day and to ask questions in a smaller group setting. Places must be booked in advance and numbers are limited to ensure all visitors have the opportunity to ask questions.
To book a place, please complete a general enquiry form and we will be in touch with the available dates and times.
Tours will take place from 9.15am to 10.15am on the following dates:
If you are not able to visit at the times above please contact us and we will find a time suitable.
