The role of Sixth Form Student Council is one of significant responsibility. Student Council work in partnership with the Sixth Form Team and teaching staff, supporting and enhancing the education of students in the school and assisting with administration and supervision. Student Council are role models for younger students and as such, are expected to demonstrate maturity, show good judgement, be reliable and act responsibly at all times.

All Student Council will be expected to:

• Support events, both internal and external, in the Sixth Form and the main school throughout the year
• Support with tours of the school for visitors e.g. prospective students / parents, governors, trustees, employers.
• Attend regular meetings with the Headteacher
